Micah Parker

Micah Parker has a diverse work experience in various design roles. They started their career at the University of Redlands as a Design Tutor and Print Studio Assistant, where they tutored students in design software and worked as a studio assistant. Later, Micah worked at Prep Sportswear as a UI Developer and Architecture Consultant, where they developed frontend websites and provided expertise in schema designs and testing. They also served as a Graphic and UX Designer at Prep Sportswear, working on projects for different company verticals and leading design efforts. Micah then worked as a Freelance Designer and UX Consultant at MicahPCreative, designing and developing websites for small businesses and conducting research and user testing. After that, Micah joined Nordstrom as a UX Designer, leading the design of the price management application and complex interaction design for data validation. Currently, Micah is working at Stellar Elements as a Lead Experience Designer, providing design and product consulting services to enterprise clients and leading design projects.

Micah Parker obtained a B.A. with honors in Graphic Design from the University of Redlands between 2004 and 2009. During the same period, Micah also earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the same university. In 2017 and 2018, Micah completed a UX Apprenticeship at Bloc. Apart from these academic achievements, Micah has obtained additional certifications in subjects such as Prompt Engineering for Generative AI, HTML & CSS, Bootstrap and Web Frameworks, Javascript, Responsive Design, Responsive Email Design & Development, and UX Design and Concepts.
