Rae Gibbs

Rae Gibbs has extensive work experience in the field of design and education. Currently, Gibbs is working as a Principal Experience Designer at Stellar Elements since 2022. Prior to that, Gibbs held various roles at projekt202 from 2013 to 2023 including Experience Architect, Senior UX Designer, UX Designer, and UX Design Research Intern. Additionally, Gibbs worked as an English Language Instructor at AEON Corporation from 2010 to 2011, where they taught English as a foreign language and helped students prepare for studying and working abroad. Gibbs also gained experience as a Reference Department Research Intern at Alkek Library, Texas State University from 2008 to 2009, where they conducted research projects and managed library resources.

Rae Gibbs earned a Master of Information Science (MIS) degree in Information Science, with a focus on User Experience/Information Architecture/Usability, from The University of Texas at Austin between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature, Magna Cum Laude, from Texas State University from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, they also received a Certification of Completion in Japanese Language and Culture from Trident University International - Nagoya, Japan.
