Daniel Speer

Daniel Speer is a DevOps Engineer at Stellar Health since February 2021, with previous experience as a Software Engineer at Outreach and a Data Engineer Fellow at Insight Data Science. At Insight Data Science, Daniel designed an Apache log monitoring system using Kafka, Spark, and Redis on AWS. Prior to these roles, Daniel worked as an Engineering Sales Representative at Airefco Inc., where new construction projects were identified, leading to a significant increase in annual sales. Daniel's earlier experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant in physics labs at both Oregon State University and Montana State University, as well as a Structural Engineer at the Space Science and Engineering Lab, where Daniel contributed to the satellite Explorer-1 Prime. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Oregon State University.
