David Jones, PMP, BMRP has an extensive work experience in program and project management. David currently serves as the Chapter President of the Dayton/Miami Valley Chapter of PMI, where they have been since January 2023. Prior to their role as Chapter President, they were the VP Administration from January 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining PMI, David worked as the Director of Program Operations at Stellar Innovations & Solutions, Inc. from May 2019, and they were responsible for overseeing program operations.

From July 2018 to May 2019, David worked as a Program Manager at Array Information Technology, Inc., where they managed the JOCAS II contract with the Air Force and was responsible for contract performance, finance, contracting, subcontracting, and personnel.

Prior to that, David held several program management roles at S4 Inc. and Peraton. At S4 Inc. from September 2017 to July 2018, they served as a Program Manager, overseeing the management, operation, sustainment, and support for IT services. At Peraton, they worked as a Program Manager from July 2017 to September 2017.

David also has a significant experience in program management at Harris Corporation, where they held various roles from February 2016 to July 2017. David managed IT services and provided logistical and general support for the customers.

Earlier in their career, David worked as a Program Manager at Multimax, Inc. from June 2004 to July 2007, overseeing multiple contracts located at Wright-Patterson AFB.

David's career began at BTAS in June 2002, where they served as a Project Manager and was responsible for architectural design, business process analysis, scheduling, and project management activities within the Air Force Technical Order environment.

Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company from March 2000 to July 2001, managing applications for the Technical Assistance Center.

David's career started as a Practice Manager at A.F. Kelly / Walsh / C.E.T.A. in June 1993. David led the Enterprise Application Practice and was responsible for defining, designing, and implementing business processes and methodologies.

David Jones, PMP, BMRP has a BA in Math/Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati, which they obtained from 1979 to 1983. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor's degree in Math - Computer Science from the same university. Prior to their college education, David attended Livonia Churchill High School from 1976 to 1979, where they completed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program.

In addition to their educational background, David has obtained several certifications. In 2011, they became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Program Management Institute (PMI). In 2018, they earned the BRM Institute (1) Foundation (BMRP) certification from APMG International. David also holds the Certified CMMI Associate certification from ISACA, which they obtained in 2021. Furthermore, David is set to become a Chapter Leader in 2022, as certified by the Project Management Institute.
