Melissa Farrell

Melissa Farrell has a extensive and varied work experience in the aerospace industry. Melissa began their career in 1984 at Hughes Space and Communications as a Member Technical Staff Thermophysics. Melissa then joined Intelsat in 1989 as a Systems Engineering I7 Palo Alto. In 1996, they moved to SSL where they worked as a System Engineer/Consultant until 2004. During their time at SSL, they also took on the role of System Engineering Manager DTV7 at SSL (Space Systems Loral) from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, they became the CEO/President of Stellar Solutions Aerospace Ltd. Melissa held this position until 2009. Melissa then returned to SSL, taking on the role of Vice President, Commercial Programs at Stellar Solutions in 1997. Most recently, in 2015, they served as the Interim CEO at Stellar Solutions Aerospace, Ltd (UK) from 2015 to 2016. Melissa Farrell has a well-rounded background and a wealth of experience in various roles in the aerospace industry.

Melissa Farrell completed their undergraduate studies at Whitman College from 1979 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and Physics. Melissa then pursued their interest in Engineering and Applied Science at Caltech from 1982 to 1984, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Following this, Melissa continued their education by specializing in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1984 to 1985, where they attained a Master of Science degree.
