Dr Jeannie de Villiers-Strijdom Cfp®

Dr. Jeannie de Villiers-Strijdom CFP® is a highly experienced academic and financial planning professional currently serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Senior Lecturer Extraordinary at Stellenbosch University since January 2022, with a focus on the interplay between financial literacy, financial intelligence, and financial satisfaction. As a Lecturer and External Moderator at the University of Stellenbosch Business School since January 2020, Dr. de Villiers-Strijdom has contributed to the education of financial planning students and has overseen the quality of the postgraduate program. Previous experience includes consulting and senior research at Capitec Bank, offering financial advisory services at FINFOCUS FINANCIAL PLANNERS, and a long tenure at Stellenbosch University developing financial planning modules. Dr. de Villiers-Strijdom holds a PhD in Business Management, along with several advanced degrees in financial planning and commerce from Stellenbosch University and the University of the Free State.
