Carrick Faris

Carrick Faris, P.Eng, has amassed extensive experience in engineering, specifically within research and development, biomedical engineering, and systems integration. Currently serving as Manager of Systems Engineering at STEMCELL Technologies since January 2016, Carrick has held multiple roles including Senior Systems Engineer and Systems Engineer, focusing on workflow development, product prototyping, and control architecture development. Prior experience includes an Electrical Engineer co-op role at Teck Resources Limited where responsibilities involved power system monitoring and SCADA & HMI integration, along with previous positions at VMAC and Delta Controls Inc. that encompassed product design, testing, and documentation. Carrick holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences from Vancouver Island University.
