Kirsten Wilson

Senior Research Associate - Immunology at STEMCELL Technologies

Kirsten Wilson, MSc, is currently a Research Associate in Immunology at STEMCELL Technologies, where work focuses on the effects of bacteria-specific T helper cell subsets on humoral antibody responses, with applications in immune-mediated disorders and vaccine development. Previously, Kirsten was an MSc Research Student at the University of Calgary in the Geuking Lab, investigating similar topics. Prior experience includes roles as a High School Teacher at The Boundless School, an Eco Canada Intern, and a Molecular Physiology Research Student at Queen's University. Kirsten has also served as the Head Canadian Staff for Vaughan Systems, an ESL Teacher at Global Pathways School and educom GmbH, and as President of Operation Smile Queen's, coordinating efforts to provide medical aid to children in need. Kirsten holds a Master of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Infectious Disease from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Biology from Queen's University.
