Nicole Merchant (formerly Christman)

Nicole Merchant, formerly known as Nicole Christman, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Nicole recently joined Stemline Therapeutics in 2023 as an Associate Director Brand Attorney. Prior to this, they worked at Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck, LLP from 2017 to 2023 as an Associate Lawyer, specializing in complex commercial litigation and transactional work for international/national and insurance clients. Nicole'sresponsibilities included handling business and corporate conflicts, product liability, employment issues, cybersecurity/data privacy, contractual issues, entertainment/media, intellectual property, and compliance in the areas of drugs, dietary supplements, and cosmetics.

Before joining Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck, LLP, Nicole worked as a Property Clerk at Maravilla Homes from 2016 to 2017. Nicole also gained legal experience as a Law Clerk at Sittler Law Group in 2015 and Blakely Law Group from 2014 to 2015. In 2013, they completed a Summer Internship at the Javdan Firm, where they worked on transactional law activities for high-profile entertainment-related cases, drafted contracts, managed correspondence, and handled trademark and copyright filings.

Nicole's earlier professional experiences include working as a Client Matter In-Take Clerk in the Financial Services division at Blank Rome LLP from 2011 to 2012, and as a Casting Intern at Paladino Casting in 2011. Nicole also interned at Koresh Dance Company in 2010 and served as a Member Relations representative at Big Canyon Country Club from 2008 to 2010.

Nicole Merchant (formerly Christman) received their high school diploma from Sherman E. Burroughs High School in 2006. Nicole then pursued a Bachelor of Art in Dance and a Bachelor of Art in Drama at UC Irvine from 2006 to 2010. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in an acting and dance program at Wells College in Paris in 2008.

In 2013, Nicole embarked on international law studies in Ireland and Wales through the University of Missouri-Kansas City, further expanding their knowledge in this field. Nicole proceeded to obtain their Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School in 2015.

To complement their legal education, Nicole obtained a Certification of Practical Training of Law Students Program from the State Bar of California and the Judicial Branch of California in May 2014.
