Shan Li O'Connor PharmD, BCOP has an extensive work experience in the field of pharmacy and hematology/oncology. They are currently working as a Medical Science Liaison - Hematology at Stemline Therapeutics starting from January 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at AbbVie from June 2021 to January 2023. Before transitioning to medical liaison roles, Shan Li worked at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance starting from July 2014 until May 2021. During their time there, they held multiple roles including Hematology/Oncology Clinical Pharmacist, Affiliated Clinical Instructor, and also completed a PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Practice Residency from July 2013 to June 2014. Prior to joining Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Shan Li was a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident and Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals from June 2012 to June 2013. Their earlier experiences include working as a Pharmacist and Pharmacy Intern at Rite Aid from June 2012 to June 2013 and from June 2008 to June 2012 respectively.
Shan Li O'Connor obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree in Pharmacy from Rutgers University, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they have also earned the certification of Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in April 2016. Shan further obtained a pharmacist certification from the Washington State Department of Health in June 2013.
