David Karpinski

David Karpinski has extensive experience in the drilling industry, currently serving as a Toolpusher on a 6th Generation MPD drillship at Stena Drilling since August 2011. Previous roles include Forward Planner, Main Well Driller, and acting Safety Officer aboard the semi-submersible Stena Don. Earlier career positions include Aux Driller and Assistant Driller on a Cyber NOV hydraulic lift ultra-deep water drillship in the Gulf of Mexico, as well as Roughneck Derrickman at Ensco plc and Roustabout Roughneck at Patrolia Drilling. David's educational background includes a National Certificate in Service Engineering and SQA in Land and Environment from Aberdeen College, complemented by foundational studies at Mackie Academy.
