Jörgen Lorén

Jörgen Lorén has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in various roles. Jörgen joined Stena Line in 2016 and currently holds the position of Head of HSEQ & Security. Prior to this, they worked as a Safety & Security Manager and DP / CSO at Stena Line.

Before joining Stena Line, Lorén served as the Vice President of IFSMA from 2014 onwards. Jörgen also gained experience as a Captain at Stena Line Scandinavia AB from 2012 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, they held the position of 1st Vice Chairman at Sjöbefälsföreningen from 2012 to 2015. In 1997, Lorén worked as a Newbuilding Supervisor at Stena RoRo, and in 1991 they served as a Personal Administrator at Safe Service.

Jörgen Lorén completed a Diploma in Commercial Maritime Administration in the field of Shipping from Chalmers University of Technology between 1990 and 1992. Jörgen also pursued a degree in Nautik, specifically Sjökapten / DipCMO, from the same university between 1982 and 1984.
