UX Designer at Stendahls

Ellen Karnblad has a diverse work experience in various design roles. Ellen started their career as a Saleswoman at Klädhuset from December 2014 to August 2016. Ellen then worked as a Receptionist at Acando from June 2017 to June 2019.

In 2019, Ellen completed their Bachelor Thesis at RGNT Motorcycles, where they designed a graphical interface for an electric motorcycle's display. This project focused on understanding user needs and ensuring safety.

Ellen worked as a UX/UI Designer at Everyaspect from September 2020 to April 2021. Here, they voluntarily contributed to a project against mental and physical illness, resulting in a community app and website.

For their Master's Thesis, Ellen collaborated with Emma Wallin at Essity from February 2021 to June 2021. Their research focused on the user experience of menstrual residues on feminine hygiene products.

At Compular, Ellen worked as a UX/UI Designer from March 2021 to October 2021. Ellen was responsible for designing a complex tool in chemistry to simulate the behavior of different chemical compositions for the development of new high-tech materials.

Currently, Ellen is employed as a UX Designer at Stendahls, starting from August 2021.

Ellen Karnblad began their education journey in 2013 at Lerums gymnasium, where they pursued a Gymnasieexamen with a focus on Teknik Design. Ellen completed their studies in 2016. Following this, from 2016 to 2019, Ellen attended Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in Design och produktutveckling, and earned a degree known as Högskoleingenjör. Subsequently, they continued their education at Chalmers University of Technology, enrolling in the Industrial Design Engineering program. From 2019 to 2021, Ellen pursued their master's degree in this field and successfully completed their studies.
