As an Account Executive, you will be a key player in driving our growth and success by acquiring new clients and expanding our market presence. You will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and closing new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in fintech solutions to meet and exceed sales targets. This role demands a proactive, energetic, and strategic approach to sales, with a focus on building strong relationships and delivering exceptional value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets within the assigned territory or market segment.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Conduct thorough discovery calls with SMB prospects via web and phone to better understand the client's business and uncover pain points. 
  • Present and demonstrate our products to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition and benefits as it aligns with their capital needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the client and the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fraud, operations, risk, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of solutions.
  • Work closely with China & India counterparts to expedite customer onboarding & pipeline growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the sales leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a high-velocity sales environment, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of fintech solutions and their applications to the SMB customer segment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels of an organization.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Inside sales experience preferred with history proactively calling warm and cold leads
