Etienne Huyghues Despointes has been working in the finance industry since 2006. Etienne began their career as an Analyst at BNP PARIBAS (Paris Etoile Entreprises) in Paris. In 2008, they moved to Fortis as an Acquisition & Leveraged Finance Analyst. One year later, they took on a Feasibility Study role at Water & Life. In 2010, they joined HSBC as an Associate Director - Commodity & Structured Trade Finance and an Associate - Resources & Energy Sector. In 2017, they became the Treasurer & Structured Trade Finance / Europe, Middle-East, USA at Rhodium Resources Pte Ltd, where they were in charge of c. 45% of the Groups’ financing requirement. Currently, they are the Director, Structuring at Stenn.

Etienne Huyghues Despointes obtained their Baccalaureat from Lycée Stanislas in Mathématiques in 2002-2003. Etienne then went on to obtain a Master Degree from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL in Magistère Banque Finance Assurance between 2005-2008. In 2007-2008, they also obtained a Master MAFINRISK from Università Bocconi in Quantitative Finance & Risk Management. Additionally, they hold an ICA Certificate in Trade Based Financial Crime Compliance.
