Matt Buchanan

Matt Buchanan has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. From 2002 to 2005 they worked as a Project Manager for the Australian Government. Matt then worked as a Project Director for the UK Government from 2005 to 2011. From 2011 to 2016 they were a Program Director for Deloitte. From 2016 to 2019 they were the Financial Crime Compliance Director for Standard Chartered Bank. From 2019 to 2021 they were the Global Head of Compliance and MLRO for Checkout.com. Most recently, they have been a Trustee for Seeds for Growth charity since 2021 and will be the Global Head of Compliance for Stenn Technologies starting in 2022.

Matt Buchanan completed their Masters in Business Administration from Macquarie Business School between 2011 and 2013. Prior to this, they obtained a BA in Justice from Edith Cowan University between 2000 and 2002.
