Wenqiang Chen

Wenqiang Chen is a Visiting Scholar at Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen as part of the Steno North American Fellowship, funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, starting in January 2024. Prior to this, Wenqiang served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School from February 2017 to January 2024. Additionally, Wenqiang held the position of Vice President of the Harvard Medical Postdoc Association, facilitating internal and external communications and organizing various events. Wenqiang's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Research Assistant and PhD candidate in Neurobiology at The University of Hong Kong from September 2011 to February 2016, with a focus on thalamus, spatial navigation, vestibular function, and spatial cognition. Wenqiang has participated in several prestigious neuroscience programs, including serving as Chairman at the FENS-IBRO-Hertie Winter School and receiving fellowships from APSN Advanced Neuroscience School and IBRO Associate School of Neuroscience.
