Felicity Gilmore has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Executive Head Teacher at STEP Academy Trust since September 2015, where responsibilities include supporting schools as Teaching and Learning Lead, while also holding roles as Head Teacher, English Lead, and Maths Lead. Previous positions include Deputy Head Teacher, Assistant Headteacher, and KS1 Leader at various institutions, with a focus on inclusion support and teaching across multiple year groups, including Year 2, Year 6, and Early Years. Felicity's educational qualifications include a Master's in Educational Management from King's College London and a Bachelor's in Philosophy from the University of Southampton.

STEP Academy Trust currently comprises of seven members - Applegarth Academy, David Livingstone Academy, La Fontaine Academy, Gonville Academy, Wolsey Junior Academy, Angel Oak Academy and Heathfield Academy. The name, an acronym, reflects the aspirational nature of the organisation - Striving Together for Excellence in Partnership.
