Anita Prasad

Anita Prasad has a diverse range of work experience in the field of special education. Anita started their career in 1988 as a Special Educator, focusing on speech and language, at the Spastic Society of Northern India. Anita then worked at Action for Ability Development and Inclusion as a Program Coordinator and Lecturer from 2003 to 2011. In 2011, Anita joined Bluebells School International as a Special Educator until 2016 when they became the Director of Education at Suniye Support School for Hearing Impaired. Most recently, they have been serving as the Head of the Special Education Needs Department at Step by Step School Noida since 2020.

Anita Prasad holds a Master's degree in Education from the Indira Gandhi National Open University, which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. In 1987 to 1988, they completed a PG Diploma in Special Education at Action For Ability Development And Inclusion, specializing in Special Education and Teaching. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1987, Anita earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Jesus and Mary College.
