Hali Resnick

Hali Resnick currently serves as a Board Member at Step Up since February 2024 and is the Director/Associate General Counsel for Content Acquisition and Distribution at Roku Inc., a position held since January 2018. Previously, Hali held roles as Senior Director of Business and Legal Affairs for Digital Media at Fox from August 2013 to January 2018, and as Senior Counsel for Content, Distribution and Marketing at AOL from October 2010 to August 2013. Legal experience also includes an Associate position in New Media, Entertainment, and Technology at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP and an Associate role in Advertising, Technology, and Media at Reed Smith LLP. Hali began a legal career at Bloomberg, where responsibilities included serving as Legal Counsel and Legal Assistant. Academic qualifications include a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University and a JD from Fordham University School of Law.
