Craig Whaites FCMI has extensive experience in leadership, talent, learning, and development across various industries. Craig currently serves as the Head of Learning and Development at StepChange Debt Charity, where they are responsible for defining and implementing the learning and development strategy. Prior to this, they took a career break to spend time with their family. Whaites previously held leadership roles at Asda, where they were Head of Leadership & Learning and Head of Leadership Capability. Craig also worked at The Co-operative Group as Group Head of Leadership & Learning and Head of Learning and Development, Consumer Services. In addition, they have experience running their own consultancy business, Whaites Consulting Limited, where they provided expertise in leadership, talent, learning, and development. Whaites has also worked at Aviva plc, serving in various leadership positions in learning and development. Craig'sskills include overseeing the learning agenda, working with C-suite members, and providing best practices in talent management.

Craig Whaites FCMI has a diverse education history. Craig attended Fulneck Boys' School from 1980 to 1990. Craig later received training in organizational leadership from the Chartered Management Institute, and also completed courses from the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Institute of Leadership & Management.
