Lori Harkness

Lori Harkness is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in teaching and educational leadership. Currently a Clinical Instructor and adjunct University Instructor at Stephen F. Austin State University since August 1998, Lori teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in the Department of Education Studies, utilizing online and face-to-face formats. From August 2020 to May 2024, Lori served as a Mathematics Teacher at Nacogdoches Independent School District. Previously, Lori was the Director of the SFASU Early Childhood Lab from August 1998 to August 2020. Lori holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Walden University and both a Master of Education (MEd) in Elementary Education and Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (BSIS) with a focus on Early Childhood Education from Stephen F. Austin State University.
