Erin Olmstead, BSN, RN, CPN, currently serves as the Perinatal Outreach Education Coordinator and Director of Nursing Education at Stephens Memorial Hospital since September 2019. Prior to this role, Erin Olmstead worked at Maine Medical Center from May 2014 to September 2019, where responsibilities included registered nursing in inpatient pediatrics and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, as well as in the Level 3 NICU and Continuing Care Nursery. Additional experience includes nursing roles in Level 2 NICU and pediatrics at MaineGeneral Health from August 2012 to May 2014, and camp nursing at Camp Wigwam For Boys in 2011 and 2012. Erin Olmstead holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Maine at Augusta and an Associate’s Degree from Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professions, along with a background in nursing education from Southern Maine Community College. Special interests include primary nursing, cultural nursing, and high acuity neonatal nursing, with notable committee involvement and recognition within the nursing community.
