Victoria is a senior associate solicitor, in the Real Estate team, in Truro and joined Stephens Scown in February 2014.
Victoria advises private individuals, corporate entities, executors, and trustees on buying, selling, leasing, and charging commercial and residential property (including buy-to-lets). Victoria is experienced in dealing with more complicated aspects of conveyancing, including the split of titles, and unregistered land.
Victoria also acts for mortgage lenders in respect of re-mortgages and acts for borrowers in respect of equity release schemes and bridging finance arrangements. Victoria provides real estate advice to other departments within the firm and works closely with the Private Client, Families, Dispute Resolution, and Corporate/Commercial teams.
Victoria also provides an internal conveyancing training course for the firm’s paralegals and trainee solicitors. Victoria qualified as a solicitor in April 2006, after gaining a Law LLB Honours Degree from Nottingham Trent University in 2001 and completing the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in 2002.
