Krista Bondi

Krista Bondi is the Institutional Partnerships Manager at Steppenwolf Theatre Company. Krista previously served as the Grant Programs Manager at ArtsWave, overseeing all grantmaking programs and awarding more than $10 million annually to the Cincinnati region’s creative sector. Krista also worked with 100+ grantee organizations to help actualize and advance ArtsWave’s community investment strategy.

Prior to their work at ArtsWave, Krista served as the Evaluation Assistant at Arts Education Collaborative, where they assisted with the planning, implementation, analysis, and reporting of front-end, formative, and summative evaluation studies for an organization that provides support to school districts and arts organizations across Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Krista began their career in the arts as an intern in the Development office at Taft Museum of Art. Krista went on to serve as Development and Education Manager at Future Tenant, a contemporary art gallery in Pittsburgh, before taking on the role of Assistant to the Senior Associate Dean of Student Affairs at Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Fine Arts.

Krista Bondi has a Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art Theirtory / American Studies from the University of Dayton, and a Semester Abroad in Florence, Italy from Istituto Lorenzo de'​ Medici. Krista is also certified by Blackbaud in Raiser's Edge Fundamentals Certification (bCRE).
