Barton Sturgeon

Barton Sturgeon is an accomplished project manager and plant manager with extensive experience in facility engineering and operations management. At Stericycle since August 2016, Barton has successfully overhauled warehouse layouts and optimized process flows, while significantly reducing equipment downtime by 45% through a revamped preventative maintenance program. Previously, Barton managed operations at Shred-X Confidential Document Destruction from November 2006 to May 2016, overseeing daily work assignments, training, and inventory control, and was recognized by leadership for nurturing key account relationships. As the owner of Hawaiian Ice & Snack Shack from August 2003 to October 2013, Barton excelled by capturing 100% market share in a competitive environment. Barton holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from the University of Southern Indiana.
