Martijn van Harten

Martijn Van Harten serves as the Vice President of Internal Audit at Stericycle since July 2019, where leadership of the Internal Audit function has been a key focus. Prior roles include Director of Finance Internal Controls at Stericycle, overseeing the enhancement of business process controls and transitioning to a co-sourcing model. Previously, Martijn held the position of General Auditor at Essendant, driving significant improvements in the Internal Audit function. Prior to that, extensive experience at EY spanned 16 years, culminating in the role of Assurance Senior Manager, overseeing multiple audit teams and engagements across various industries, including insurance and asset management. Martijn holds a Master's degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
