Phong Le

Phong Le has three years of work experience. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Van Spa LLC as an IT/PC support where they resolved user issues with hardware, software, mobile devices, desktop, and network connectivity in a timely manner. Phong also proactively monitored hardware and system performance of the business and developed and implemented procedures for system backup and disaster recovery. From 2021 to 2022, they worked at University of Central Florida as a Cybersecurity Student, where they initiated troubleshooting steps to rectify improper file system and share permissions, permission filters, Windows Firewall, AppLocker, and BitLocker in the Microsoft Active Directory environment. Phong also implemented initial network security on Cisco devices through a set of ACLs, port security, accounts, and password encryption. Phong is currently working at SteriPack Contract Manufacturing as an IT Technician, where they are responsible for maintaining and developing the current IT infrastructure and manufacturing support systems. Phong is also responsible for maintaining updates across all hardware and software platforms using WSUS and application update consoles, troubleshooting networks, system and applications problems, and supporting business critical applications and services including ERP, Microsoft 365, Windows and Manufacturing applications.

Phong Le has been pursuing a variety of educational experiences. In 2017, Le began their educational journey by attending Broward College, where they earned an Associate of Arts - AA in Computer Science in 2019. Le then attended the University of Central Florida and obtained a Certificate in Cyber Defense Security in 2022. Currently, Le is attending Western Governors University and is on track to earn a Bachelor of Science - BS in Information Technology in 2023. Additionally, Le has obtained a number of certifications, including ITIL 4 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in December 2022, CompTIA Pentest+ Learning Path from TryHackMe in August 2022, Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in August 2021, CompTIA A+ ce Certification from CompTIA in December 2022, CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA in February 2022, CompTIA Secure Infrastructure Specialist – CSIS Stackable Certification from CompTIA in December 2022, and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in May 2022.
