Nirav R. Shah

Dr. Nirav Shah, age 46, director since 2018. Dr. Shah is a graduate of the Yale School of Medicine, and serves as Senior Scholar at the Clinical Excellence Research Center at Stanford University. Previously Dr. Shah served as Commissioner of Health of the State of New York from January 2011 to May 2014, and as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Clinical Operations for Kaiser Permanente Southern California from May 2014 to October 2017. Since October 2017, Dr. Shah has served as a healthcare industry consultant.
