Steve Sorsen

Steve Sorsen is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Manager of IT Support Services at STERIS since June 2021, and as an Adjunct Faculty member at Metropolitan State University of St. Paul/Minneapolis since September 2016, where instruction focuses on IT applications design and system development life cycle methodologies. Prior to STERIS, Steve held managerial roles in IT Support Services at Cantel Medical and directed ITSM Service Transition at Carlsonwagonlit Travel, overseeing global IT service delivery and implementing ITIL processes that led to significant operational improvements. Steve's career in IT operations began at Carlson, where responsibilities included incident and escalation management. Steve holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Concordia University-St. Paul.
