Bas van der Meulen

Bas van der Meulen has extensive experience in youth care and therapeutic supervision, currently serving as a Supervisor MST at Sterk Huis since January 2023 and as a Systeem Therapeutisch Werker at Euthopia since February 2021. Bas previously supervised Multi Systemic Therapy at Stichting Oosterpoort from August 2017 to May 2022, providing leadership to a team addressing severe behavioral issues in families. Earlier roles include working as a researcher on child abuse and domestic violence at Veilig Thuis Midden-Brabant, as an advisor for youth care in the Midden-IJssel/Oost Veluwe region, and as a family manager in complex family issues at Zorg- en Veiligheidshuis Tilburg. Bas also held the position of youth protector and reclassifier at Bureau Jeugdzorg Noord-Brabant. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven and specialized training in System Therapeutic Work from Euthopia.
