Monika van der Weel

Monika van der Weel is an experienced GZ-psychologist currently working at Sterk Huis since February 2015, where involvement includes treatment and support for victims of honor-related violence and domestic abuse in both male and female shelters. Additionally, Monika has held roles as a behavioral scientist, an orthopedagogue in training, and a pedagogical employee focused on parenting skills assessment. Prior experience includes a position as an orthopedagogue in training at GGz Breburg, where Monika worked within a FACT team, and an internship at BuroJIJ for forensic family pedagogy. Monika's educational background includes a post-master's degree in GZ-psychology, a master's degree in forensic family pedagogy from Leiden University, and a bachelor's degree in youth care. Monika's extensive work encompasses both crisis intervention and developmental support for families.
