Anna Simpson

Anna oversees all legal aspects of Sterling Bay’s business, including joint venture and private fund formation, reporting and compliance, and all commercial real estate matters. Anna navigates the legal issues raised by Sterling Bay’s rapid growth and directs initiatives to implement best practices. While at Sterling Bay, Anna has placed over $1 billion in equity in real estate ventures, bought and sold more than $2 billion in real estate assets, negotiated leases and loans, and led community zoning change processes. Prior to joining Sterling Bay in 2012, Anna worked in private practice as a commercial real estate attorney at Jones Day. Anna earned a BA from Tufts University and a JD from Maurer School of Law at Indiana University Bloomington.
