Brad Schmidt

Managing Director at Sterling Bay

Brad oversees the development, management, financing and disposition of many of Sterling Bay’s highest profile properties. During his time at Sterling Bay, Brad has played an instrumental role in over $2 billion of prominent capital market transactions, most notably the acquisition of Prudential Plaza, Harpo Studios and 121 W Wacker, as well as the development of 210 N Carpenter and 333 N Green. He also actively manages 3 million square feet of commercial space and has completed over $9 billion in commercial real estate transactions. Prior to joining Sterling Bay, Brad worked as a Senior Director at Tishman Speyer and as an Associate at Trizec Properties in the US Acquisitions Group. Brad holds a BBA in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics, as well as a BBA in Finance, Investments & Banking from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He remains actively involved in the University of Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
