Patrick Rau

Patrick Rau has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Patrick began their career as a Research Associate at Interstate/Johnson Lane in 1993, where they stayed until 1995. Patrick then moved to Banc of America Investments as a Portfolio Manager, a role they held from 1995 until 2001. Since 2001, Rau has been with Sterling Capital Management LLC, where they serve as the Managing Director. In this role, they co-manage the Sterling Mid Cap Value fund and the Sterling Small Cap Value fund.

Patrick Rau earned their AB degree in Political Science from Duke University, where they attended from 1985 to 1989. Patrick then pursued their MBA in Finance from Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, where they studied from 1991 to 1993.
