Steven Pardo has over 20 years of work experience in various technology leadership roles. Steven is currently the SVP of Architecture and Common Platforms at Sterling, where they are responsible for global architecture, cloud, and data services. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Architecture and Cloud Services at Sterling, where they led a team of architects and developed Microservices, Data, and Cloud architectures. Steven also documented and catalogued a product offering of over 230 services.

Before joining Sterling, Steven worked as a Lead Architect, where they led initiatives to improve security and develop micro-front end strategies. Steven also served as an API Architect, implementing a standards-driven Architectural Review Board and promoting REST API standards and best practices.

Earlier in their career, Steven was a Technology Director at Znalytics, where they built a development organization and launched a custom energy billing platform hosted in Azure using microservices and automated delivery practices. Steven also worked as a Senior Business Solutions Architect at ista North America, leading projects to optimize client onboarding and launch new product lines.

Steven's experience also includes working as a Software Development Consultant at Progress, supporting clients in developing SaaS applications, and as a Web Application Developer at EarthLink Internet. Steven began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology and as an Engineering Intern at MWH (now part of Stantec).

Throughout their career, Steven has demonstrated expertise in architecture, cloud services, microservices, and promoting best practices within organizations.

Steven Pardo has a Master's degree in Bioengineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Before that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution from 1999 to 2001. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended the University of Miami from 1997 to 1999, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Steven also has a High School Diploma from Christopher Columbus High School, which they received in 1997. In terms of additional certifications, they participated in the AWS Data Lab program offered by Amazon Web Services in 2021 and obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification in November 2017.
