Mayra di Rico

Mayra Di Rico has a diverse work experience spanning several banks. Mayra started their career at MVP Recipient in 1989 as a Business Development Officer and achieved recognition as the #1 Salesperson in NY State. Mayra then joined Marine Midland Bank in 1987, where they served as a Branch Manager VP for different locations. In 1999, they moved to HSBC Bank USA as a District Executive/SVP, managing Outerboroughs and later leading 28 locations in Queens Bronx. From 2005 to 2012, Mayra worked at HSBC Bank as the Head of Network North East Region/Executive Vice President, responsible for the operations and sales of 1,619 Banking Professionals at 174 branch locations. Mayra achieved significant growth in deposits and assets under management during their tenure. In 2013, they joined Astoria Bank as the Director of Retail Banking, a position they held until 2017 when they assumed the role of Executive Director at Sterling National Bank.

Mayra Di Rico has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing/International Business from NYU Stern School of Business, which they obtained from 1983 to 1987. Mayra also holds a Graduate Degree in Banking from the CBA Graduate School of Retail Banking University of Virginia, which they earned from 1993 to 1996.
