Richard Perry

Richard Perry is currently the Head of Data at Sterling Pharma Solutions, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked at SolarWinds from 2015 to 2020, first as a Data Scientist from September 2015 to August 2017, then as an Engineering Manager from August 2017 to May 2018, and finally as a Data Science Manager from May 2018 to August 2020. Before joining SolarWinds, Richard worked as a Statistician at Quantics Biostatistics from April 2013 to September 2015, and as a Summer Research Assistant at the Met Office in 2008.

Richard Perry completed their education as follows:

- From 2009 to 2013, Richard attended The University of Edinburgh and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Statistical Genetics.

- In 2008, Richard studied at the University of Bath and acquired a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematical Biology.

- Prior to that, from 2005 to 2008, Richard also attended the University of Bath and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematical Sciences.

In addition to their educational background, Richard has also obtained various certifications. In January 2021, they earned the "Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft. In November 2020, they obtained the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals" certification, also from Microsoft. Similarly, in October 2020, Richard obtained the "ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management" from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Lastly, in October 2017, they received the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services.
