Ashley Welton

Ashley Welton, P.E. (CA), is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering consulting. Currently serving as a Project Advisor at Sterling Project Development since October 2025, Ashley previously held the position of Senior Project Manager at IQHQ, where leadership was provided for the $1.6B Elco Yards District in Redwood City. With a strong background in managing large-scale R&D facilities and multi-disciplinary projects, Ashley also worked with Nova Partners, Inc. and Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc., specializing in waterproofing designs for various types of buildings. Ashley's early career included roles at Arizona State University as both a Graduate Teaching Assistant and active leader in the American Society of Civil Engineers, as well as involvement in various internships and design projects. Ashley holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering, both from Arizona State University.
