Steve Mizerany

Steve Mizerany has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Steve currently holds the position of Vice President, Commercial Operations at Sterling since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Black & Veatch from 2015 to 2021, where they served as an Associate Vice President, Account Executive, Power, and later as a Regional General Manager, Power. Steve was responsible for business development efforts and strategic planning in the South region.

Before joining Black & Veatch, Steve worked at KBR, Inc. from 2009 to 2015. Steve held the positions of Director and Senior Manager of Business Development, where they oversaw account management and business development activities, focusing on KBR's Power engineering, procurement, and construction services.

Previous to their time at KBR, Inc., Steve worked at Brice Building Company as a Senior and Project Manager from 2004 to 2009, and at Washington Group International (now part of URS Corporation) from 1995 to 2004, where they held various roles including Contract Coordinator, Business Development Manager, Marketing Coordinator, and Structural Engineer.

Steve Mizerany completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering at The University of Alabama from 1990 to 1994.
