Arun K

Arun K has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Arun has recently held the position of Vice President Human Resources at Sterlite Power since April 2021, after previously serving as AVP Human Resources from March 2019 to March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at IKEA Group as the Country Talent Manager from March 2018 to April 2019, where they were responsible for leading talent acquisition strategy. Arun also worked at Indus Towers Limited as the Human Resources Leader from November 2013 to February 2018, where they focused on HR business partnering and lateral and leadership hiring. Earlier in their career, Arun held the position of Sr. Manager - Human Resources at GrapeCity from May 2010 to November 2013, where they served as an HR business partner and developed recruitment strategies. Arun also co-founded and served as the Practice Head at Ad Astra Consultants Pvt Ltd from February 2007 to May 2010, focusing on IT and telecom consulting. Arun began their career at Teamlease as a Business Development Manager from December 2005 to February 2007, where they developed key accounts in the IT and Telecom domain. Arun also had a brief stint as a consultant at CHR Global, managing process reengineering projects for clients such as JK Tyres. Arun is a self-employed and freelance consultant and has also worked at FCS Software Solutions in a recruitment role.

Arun K completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from Delhi University between 1998 and 2001. Before that, they attended Vivekanand School from 1986 to 1998, where they obtained their 10+2 degree in Science. Later, Arun went on to pursue a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with a focus on Marketing & HR at the Goa Institute of Management (GIM) from 2002 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Arun also completed a Diploma in Network Centered Computing from NIIT in April 2002. Arun also earned an Advanced Diploma in Marketing & Sales from NIS Sparta Ltd, although the specific dates of completion are unknown. Moreover, Arun is certified as an OPQ32R (Occupational Personality Questionnaire) Assessor, which they obtained from CEB, now known as Gartner, with no specific information available regarding the completion date.
