Rajshekhar Deshraj

Rajshekhar Deshraj has a comprehensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Rajshekhar currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Head Convergence Business, Head Infra O&M, and Managing Director at Sterlite Power since October 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Convergence Business and Managing Director at Sterlite Power from April 2020 to September 2021. From January 2019 to March 2020, Rajshekhar worked as the Director of Projects, Service Delivery, and Operation at Sterlite Power.

Before joining Sterlite Power, Rajshekhar worked at Chaudhary Group as the Chief Technology Officer for a brief period from June 2018 to October 2018.

From 2009 to 2018, Rajshekhar gained valuable experience at Telenor India. Rajshekhar held several roles during their tenure, including Assistant Vice President, Head of Assurance (Performance, Quality & Customer Experience) from May 2015 to June 2018, Assistant Vice President, Head of NOC and Network Performance from December 2013 to May 2015, Chief Technology Officer from October 2011 to December 2013, and Head of Operation for Maharashtra and Goa from December 2009 to October 2011.

Rajshekhar also served as General Manager, Head of Network Operation at AXIS (Natrindo Telepon Seluler) Indonesia from January 2006 to November 2009.

Earlier in their career, Rajshekhar worked at Vodafone as Manager of Operation & Quality from May 2002 to January 2006, at ConvergeLabs Software Technologies as MTS Network Planner from February 2001 to May 2002, at Aditya Birla Group as an Application Engineer from August 1998 to February 2001, and at IRD as an Application Engineer from March 1996 to August 1998.

Throughout their professional journey, Rajshekhar has showcased their expertise in various areas such as network operation, project management, quality assurance, and technology leadership.

Rajshekhar Deshraj completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Nagpur University in the period of 1991 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. These include "Digital Marketing for CxO" from Simplilearn in September 2021, "Embracing Change" from Harappa Education in June 2020, and a "PMP Training Certificate" from Simplilearn in November 2018.
