Michael Placencia

Michael Placencia is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in public finance, particularly in transportation, general infrastructure, and public-private partnerships. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Public Finance at Stern Brothers since May 2018, Michael has also held the role of Managing Director and National Head of Infrastructure and Transportation Banking at the same firm. Prior roles include Managing Director at US Bank, Director at William Blair and Company, and Vice President at Merrill Lynch, among others. Michael's education includes an MBA in Finance and Management from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
