Michael T. Davis

Michael T. Davis is a board-certified appellate specialist with Kuehne Davis Law, P.A. Davis’ practice areas include appellate and trial support, criminal defense and civil rights law. A graduate of Stetson University's College of Law and College of Arts and Sciences, Davis holds the unique distinction of serving as student body president of both schools and being the first black President of the undergraduate student body.

After graduation from law school, Davis clerked for U.S. District Judge Virginia M. Hernandez Covington. He then served in the Appellate Division of the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, representing indigent criminal defendants on appeal to the Third District Court of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court.

Davis is a member of the Stetson University Board of Trustees, where he serves as Secretary and Co-Chair of the Student Affairs Committee. He is also President-Elect of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Member of the Board of Directors for the Dade-County Bar Association and the Bread of Life Community Church. Davis is barred in both the State of Florida and New York.
