Francesco Riggio

Francesco Riggio has extensive experience in the field of Energy, Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability. Francesco has held leadership positions in various companies, including Stevanato Group, ABB, Whirlpool Corporation, and Fiat Spa. In their roles, they led the implementation of group-wide performance improvement programs and practices to promote a culture of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Francesco also focused on reducing environmental impact, increasing brand awareness, and achieving sustainable growth in key markets. Throughout their career, Francesco has successfully managed teams, set clear goals, and developed effective strategies to drive positive change in the organizations they worked for.

Francesco Riggio's education history is as follows:

- In 1993-1998, they obtained a High School Diploma from Liceo Scientifico Alessandro Volta.

- From 1999-2006, they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino.

- In 2004-2005, they participated in the Project Socrates - Erasmus program at Faculté Polytechnique de Mons.

- In 2006-2007, they pursued an Mphd in Mechatronic & Medicine Engineering at Imperial College London.

- In 2007-2008, they obtained a Postgraduate Master's degree in Sustainability, EHS & Safety Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.

- In 2008, they acquired a Safety and Fire Protection Engineer license from Ministero dell'Interno - Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco.

- From 2008 onwards, they acquired various certifications including OHSAS 18001 Safety Management System External Lead Auditor, Health - Safety - Environmental - Sustainability Manager License, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Internal Auditor, ISO 50001 Energy Management System External Lead Auditor, World Class Manufacturing Internal & External Assessor, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System External Lead Auditor, and ISO 45001:2018 Heath & Safety Management System External Lead Auditor.

- Currently, they are enrolled in a Postgraduate Master's program in Sustainability Management & Corporate Social Responsibility at IFOA - Training Institute of Corporate Professionals, which will be completed in 2023.
