Stephanie Wong has a diverse work experience in the field of footwear design. Stephanie started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington in 2010. In 2012, they worked as a Men's Accessories Design Assistant at WILLIAM, where they collaborated with the lead designer to create a line of men's wallets. Stephanie then moved on to work as a Footwear Design Assistant at Splendid/Ella Moss Footwear, where they sketched technical designs for women's footwear and researched emerging trends. Stephanie continued their career as a Footwear Design Associate at Sam Edelman, where they sketched original footwear designs, researched trends, and participated in development meetings. Stephanie then joined Evolution Design Lab as a Footwear Designer in 2013, where they designed and detailed footwear for women and kids, sourced materials, and worked closely with the sales team. Prior to their current role, Stephanie worked as a Joe's Jeans | WhoWhatWear Footwear Designer at ACI International, where they utilized their footwear design skills from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Footwear Designer at Steve Madden, where they started in 2018.
Stephanie Wong has a diverse education history. Stephanie started their undergraduate studies in 2006 at UC San Diego, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Biology. After completing their four-year degree in 2010, they moved on to further their education in the field of fashion. In 2011, they enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Merchandise Product Development. Stephanie completed this program in 2012. Following this, Stephanie attended FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) in the same year. There, they specialized in Advanced Footwear Design and earned an additional Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree.
