Beth Weir

Beth joins StevenDouglas as a Director of Finance & Accounting Search with over 10 years of previous experience in the search industry and prior to that worked in Big 4, all in the Midwest region. Beth has been able to leverage her foundational experience in accounting and audit, to bring additional insights to her specialized search practice.

In Beth’s role with StevenDouglas, she specializes in Finance & Accounting search and will be working on a broad spectrum of mandates nationally. Her personal experience working in accounting gives her the unique ability to better understand the needs of both her clients and candidates. Beth is passionate about getting to know her clients and candidates with a hands-on approach that allows her to ensure the best match possible when placing talent. She strives to add value in her work, aiming to garner a positive impact and growth in the interactions she has with both her clients and candidates. She is invested in the success of her community and wants to see the companies she works with locally and across the U.S. thrive.

Beth has a Bachelors's Degree in Accounting & Finance from Concordia University – Wisconsin. She is a former member of the Women United Council in Milwaukee, focusing on reducing the teen pregnancy rate, so that young women can have more opportunities for themselves and their future families. She also has a strong, personal connection to WithAll, an organization that educates and supports parents, teachers, coaches, and doctors about eating disorders.
