Arshad Saiyed

Arshad Saiyed currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Digital Education & Innovation at Northeastern, a role held since February 2020. Prior to this, Arshad held multiple positions at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, including Assistant Dean for Online Programs, Executive Director for Online Programs, Director of the iMBA Program, and Director of Digital Strategy & Engagement. In these roles, Arshad focused on developing strategies for online education, revenue generation models, pricing structures, and partnerships, as well as leading infrastructure development for online education and digital engagement. Earlier in Arshad's career, responsibilities included being part of the core team that designed and implemented instructional technology at the Business Instructional Facility and working as a Network Analyst. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Gujarat University.
