Cherif Amirat

Cherif Amirat, PhD, MBA, currently serves as faculty in the School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology since August 2023. Prior to this role, Cherif held the position of Chief Information Officer at IEEE from June 2015 to July 2023 and served as an adjunct professor at Rutgers Business School from January 2015 to December 2019, where the focus was on teaching "Information Technology Strategy." Cherif's extensive experience also includes a tenure as Senior Director at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals from August 1997 to March 2015 and as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories from June 1988 to August 1997, specializing in technology management consulting for financial and telecommunications sectors. Educational qualifications include an MBA from The Wharton School, a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, and executive education at Harvard Business School, alongside a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
