Rob Harari

Director Music & Technology Program, College Of Arts And Letters at Stevens Institute of Technology

Rob Harari has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rob started their career in 1983 at 39th Street Music Productions as a Chief Engineer. Rob also worked at Googalee Inc. as a Production Manager and FOH Engineer for Gregory Hines' touring shows and special performances. In 1987, they founded and operated HarariVille Inc., where they worked as an Owner, Lead Producer, and Mix Engineer. In 1997, they became the President of the United Synagogue of Hoboken and was involved in the design and construction of a preschool. From 2005, Rob Harari has been associated with Stevens Institute of Technology, where they held multiple positions including Director of the Music & Technology Program and Technical Director. Rob also served as the Director of the Division of Technology and the Arts. Additionally, they worked at Nokia Bell Labs as the Artistic Director for The Shannon Effect, an innovative performance system. In 2017, they became a Principal Investigator at the National Science Foundation.

Rob Harari attended Tenafly High School from 1975 to 1979. Rob then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and Political Science at New York University from 1979 to 1983. In 1982, Rob also obtained a Certificate in Political Science from Université Paris-Sorbonne. In addition, they have a certification in CITI from Hackensack University Medical Center, but the specific dates of obtaining it are not provided.
